This year, Team Jabberwock comprises of Brian Gardner, Cobus van Zyl, Susan Carter-Brown and Craig Metherell. Jabberwock team members have been working hard in both training and racing over the past few months. Their first place at the Kinetic Double Moon 200km Adventure Race in the Drakensberg in March is a testament to the work ethic and motivation the team has going into Expedition Africa this year.

There will be 25 teams of four on the start line at 7:30am on Sunday the 7th of June in Swaziland for the start of the 500km non-stop Expedition. Teams from as far afield as Sweden, Canada, New Caledonia, UK, Switzerland and Estonia, as well as many South African teams will line up for the challenge. The self-navigated non-stop race is expected to be roughly split between 250km of mountain biking, 150kms of hiking and 70kms of white water rafting and kayaking, however, the final race course and route maps will be provided to teams only hours before race start.
Follow Team Jabberwock live throughout the 6 day event on www.kineticgear.org. There will be live map-enabled GPS tracking of all the teams, a full interactive leaderboard, team list, route description and up-to-date news on this website.

Having won the Kinetic Double Moon 200km AR earlier in the year, Team Jabberwock are confident of a good showing amongst the best in the World at Expedition Africa 2015. They are feeling strong and are all raring to go! With the vast experience in the team and two proficient navigators, they are hoping for a solid all-round race.
