Just in case you are all wondering why the leaderboard is looking so dodge… the coverage at both Mt Mulligan and Nine Mile and pretty much Tinaroo too is either non-existant or really bad. I started trying to update the site yesterday at Tinaroo but gave up after an hour as the internet would just disconnect after about 2min, not to be seen again for a while!
I am sure that once they get better comms they will update. Coverage here is really really bad! One thing that the Saffas have up on the Aussies!
Anyway, am off to do some shopping now and to buy Tats a birthday cake and some candles!

Our tracker updated about 1h30 ago. We’re making good progress on the hike; but only about a third through – so we’ll get to watch the team again during Tuesday – still lots of hours left in this race. We look to be an hour ahead of Merrell and closing – fast – on Orion (I think Orion went sight-seeing in the Dinden Forest). Blackheart is in the lead.
