Home to the most diverse and adventurous playground well known as the Transkei, the Merrell Transkei Tuff 150km Adventure Race awaits.
This exciting and adventurous race debuted in February 2016 with only 12 teams entered and has since grown into an event that only offers 30 team or duo entries, keeping the event niche and sought after.
Entries for 2018’s Merrell Transkei Tuff have already begun to stream in, leaving only 6 spots available to those ‘tuff’ enough and looking to explore the most unforgettable terrain within the Transkei.

Race village will once again take form at Wavecrest Beach Hotel & Spa; an ideally situated hotel found on the banks of the Nxaxo river, overlooking a pristine mangrove estuary, and surrounded by magnificent dune forests and endless expanses of beach. As hosts to the Transkei Tuff event, Wavecrest Beach Hotel & Spa create a spectator-friendly environment for families and friends looking to cheer their loved ones with support.
