This was the beginning of the sprint-event format with the Hi-Tec Dirty Weekend Series events organised by Zirk Botha and the Game Sprint Series organised by Mike Baker and also the first events coming in from Hano Otto. Bradley Weinand was organising the Mazda Drifter Eco Adventure Series events at the time. What memories!
Several ARs in KZN in those days too. Not too many nowadays though!
