With just over three weeks to go before they fly to South America, Team Red Ants are making final preparations for the 450km expedition race in Argentine Patagonia. This will be the first time that the team will compete overseas and the Andes will be a picture-perfect backdrop.
On Christmas Day, a mountain biker and climber completed a self-organised sea-to-summit expedition in South America. Last April, a Capetonian spent 25 days on an uninhabited island, Survivor-style, with only the clothes he was wearing and a five-litre drybag containing considered items.
